GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is the user agreement that governs the provision of the services we deliver to you. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these website terms at any time without further notice. Your continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new website terms. It is your responsibility to regularly check the website to determine if there have been changes to these website terms and to review such changes. Please take the time to read these terms as it is important for both of us that you understand our contractual relationship both relating to your use of our website and the services we provide you. You will be asked to check a box that states you’ve agreed to our terms and conditions on the check-out page.

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS

All products available for purchase are described at their specific product page on our website. We always try to represent as accurately as possible every characteristic of the products via photography and copy points provided by designers, suppliers or manufacturers.

Our policy of continuous product development provides you with what we consider the best design at the best price, and thus we reserve the right to amend the specifications of products, their price, packaging and any service associated at any time, without prior notice. Before ordering, please have a close look at the product description and characteristics: we choose them with care in order to provide you with the best offer in the market, but every product is different and you have to make it yours.

We do our best efforts to provide you with the best images and description, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that colours and details in website images are 100% accurate representations of the product, and sizes might in some cases be approximate, we follow a 5% tolerance, which is a standard acceptable tolerance in the customized furniture industry.

Even if not always mentioned, some self-assembly may be required on certain products.

PRICES

All prices are in in the currency indicated on the website. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and bank transfer.

Prices are subject to change effective immediately upon posting to our website or other form of notification.

These do not include any delivery costs, or possible special or extra charge. These additional prices will be added upon checkout before making payment and appear in your order confirmation page.

PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS

After you have placed your order and we have processed your payment we will provide you with an order confirmation by email. This email does not guarantee that the product(s) you have ordered is/are available. It represents confirmation that we have received your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us once we have sent you an email order confirmation. Any products on the same order, which we have not confirmed in an order confirmation email, do not form part of that contract.

The company shall under no circumstances be held liable for any special losses to specific circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or for loss of profits, damage or property, or wasted expenditure.

Orders are placed and received exclusively via the internet.

Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. Up-to-date mobile telephone number and e-mail address are absolutely necessary to ensure successful delivery of your item.

All information asked on the checkout page must be filled in precisely and accurately. We will not be responsible for missed delivery because of wrong delivery address or an inappropriate phone number. All additional charges or costs due to delivery complications or missed delivery would thus be added to your order invoice.

DELIVERY

Delivery costs and times vary for different products and are calculated based on size, weight and destination. Each product listing will include the estimated delivery time for that product. The delivery price for each product are displayed on product information page as well as during the check-out process, prior to payment and order confirmation.

Changes made to delivery address or delivery time after placing an order may incur additional charges, which we reserve the right to request to add to your original delivery charge. Delivery estimates calculated at checkout are based on delivery to the front door of a ground floor. Approval for requests to have items delivered past this point must be requested prior to an order being placed. This is a request and cannot be guaranteed. The request is based on courier availability and payment of this service.

We endeavour to ship the order within the specified lead time after receiving full order payment. We will send you an email to let you know when your item has been dispatched by us.

You agree to pay any shipping and handling charges presented to you at the time you make a purchase.

Delivery is to a ground floor, if the delivery is in a multi-story building the delivery company will not travel past the ground floor front door.

After commencement of delivery, the full liability of the product is passed onto you. We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to the products after delivery.

PAYMENT

When using credit card payment option, your credit card is charged for the whole amount of the order when the order is created.

The sale will be submitted for processing as soon as you click on the “confirm” button. You will then receive an email from us to confirm the sale.

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of refusing or by reason of unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

REFUND POLICY AND CANCELLATION

Every product-detail page clearly identifies if an item is: a. eligible for return or b. not eligible for return (final sale).

Items eligible for return must be: Sent to us within 14 days of the date that they were delivered to you and sent to us in the same condition that they were delivered to you.

Unless items fail to meet merchantable quality, suitability for the purpose and usage stated in the product description, refunds and credits will not be offered for the following products:

  • Other select items, as noted on the product description page
  • Custom made to order

We are really sorry if there is something wrong with your order. The good news is that we can help - damaged items can be returned, and missing hardware can often be replaced.

Please note that for all eligible returns we'll refund the purchase price, less two delivery fees (to cover the outward and inbound delivery costs). A pick-up Fee may also be charged for large and bulky item(s).

In the unlikely case that your ordered item(s) arrives damaged, please follow the instructions below: 

  1. If delivered by a courier and damage is visible or otherwise apparent, please inform the courier at time of delivery by rejecting the delivery. 
  2. Contact JUST Design Customer Service within 2 days of delivery. Take clear quality digital photos of the damage and submit it to [email protected]justdesign.shop Stating order details, and a description of the damage. A representative from JUST Design customer care team will respond, and advise the next steps. Please note that the entire process may take more than two weeks. 

We will give you the option to arrange a replacement for part/whole of the item, or provide you with a store credit or a full refund. Any refund is made back to the payment option you chose with your original order within 15 working days. Please do not attempt to return the items before speaking to one of our customer service advisors!

To cancel your order, you must send a request to JUST Design Customer Service at [email protected] After that we will refund you the price of your order as paid by you less any discounts applied and a cancellation fee as follows:

  • Cancellations within 72 hours: 20% fee
  • Cancellations after 72 hours: 40% fee

Any refund is made back to the payment option you chose with your original order within 15 working days.
